Simple, Student-Directed Science Activity
- Highlights key concepts without expensive reagents
- Explores science and society
- Created and tested by teachers
- Includes an experiment guide and quiz
Perform urinalysis on simulated patient samples and analyze each for color, pH, glucose and protein levels according to the gender, age, and health of each patient. Students learn that urine tests are simple, cost effective, painless, non-invasive, and highly informative about health and diseases. Results obtained will be correlated to human disease. Includes materials for six experiments. All experiments are created and classroom tested by teachers and science education experts. Each kit includes an experiment guide with background information, procedures, safety recommendations, and an evaluation quiz.
