This three part kit uses chalkboard models, manipulatives, and demonstrations to help students gain a better understanding of the math involved with chemistry. Mole Map is a flowchart diagram that helps students decide how and when to use chemistry equations. Moles, Molecules, and Atoms is a manipulative that uses removable stickers to help students visualize moles or particles while balancing equations or making conversions between mass, moles, and number of particles. The Dimensional Analysis Blackboard Demo uses laminated magnetic strips, each with a unit printed on it and spaces for the substance and quantity, to show the many problems that can be solved by conversion factors. Developed by Bernard Uzelac. Includes materials for 15 student groups and instructions. Grades 11–12.
