Specialty forceps for student use.
- Stainless steel
- A variety of options available
One set of forceps isn't like every other. This selection provides options for many users. Tweezers are a basic sharp point forceps with a very short blade length that makes the ends very easy to control and provides a stronger grip.
Cover slipping forceps are designed with a broader smooth tip that is bent at an angle to improve applying a coverslip to a microscope slide.
Microdissection forceps are similar to a watchmakers forceps with a lighter weight blade, requiring less force to close. Easy grip forceps have an enlarged grip loop part-way down each blade to provide additional stability and ease of closure for a narrow blade.
Finally the self closing forceps act in a reverse motion to most. Squeezing opens the jaws, and they close when released. These are easier to use if long-term holding is required.
