Measure the Specific Gravity of Gemstones and Minerals with Ease

Combine any electronic scale with a minimum capacity of 15 g (available separately), a tare function, and a readability of at least 0.001 g with this kit to quickly test specific gravity of rocks and minerals. Simply weigh the sample in air on the integrated weighing platform of the scale, then place the sample in the underwater weighing pan included with the kit and weigh it underwater. The kit also includes a sample holder support, a beaker and beaker support, test weight, tweezers, and instructions.
