You'll find this model of the Video Flex very easy to use and very adaptable with its flexible neck (just over a meter long), and 90° angled head. Coil it around your neck or arm, or form a coil on a table top to serve as a base. 400 lines of resolution and the ability to form a clear image in 2.0 lux light add to its flexibility.
It can be used alone for 50x magnification or with a dissecting or compound microscope or a telescope. With the optional 4mm lens you can view a full page of text.
The Explorer has many of the features of the other Video Flex models, including the 1/4 turn &"Quick Focus&" from 6 mm to infinity, composite output signal for use with NTSC or PAL TV systems, 3.65 m video cable and 28 mm and 34.5 mm microscope adapter. If you thought you couldn't afford a video camera system in your classroom, the Video Flex Explorer may be your answer!
