Introduce junior and senior high school students to the world of microscopy with inexpensive, unbreakable microslides. Microslides consist of a strip of film with eight photomicrographs, each reproduced exactly as you would see them through a professional microscope under ideal conditions. You can supply all your students with their own microslides. A detailed text folder is included. Viewers are available separately.

Modern classification at the kingdom level is based on factors such as the number of cells in the organism, the presence or absence of internal structures and the methods of energy processing. This set introduces students to the concept of biological classification and shows how classification plans are helpful in showing relationships and proposing evolutionary trends and for helping us make sense of the natural world.
