Product Information
Construct three-dimensional representations of chemical compounds with these durable, yet inexpensive student molecular models. Color-coded wood balls represent atoms. Springs are used to represent multiple and cyclic bonds. The balls are 2 cm in diameter and are drilled in order to accept the springs, which are 3 mm in diameter. The Student Set contains over 150 parts 30 black (carbon) 30 white (hydrogen) 12 red (oxygen)18 green (halogens) five orange (nitrogen) and five yellow (sulfur) balls 35 springs (3.8 cm long) 35 springs (2.5 cm long) 15 springs (2.8 cm long) and instructions

Could use twice as many hydrogen atoms
Reviewed By:

This kit is ideal for the older elementary school students; easy to use and economical. I would like to have had twice as many hydrogen atoms, and I wonder why the nitrogen atoms have more than three holes. I made up for the shortage of hydrogen atoms by drilling 1/8 inch holes in plastic and wooden beads from a craft store.

This would be much more useful with a guide on how to put together the molecules.
