Introduce your students to quantitative spectrometry as they determine the constituents of molecules, the elements of stars, the structure of an atom, or analyze light emitted by various elements in modern atomic theory.

The two precision scales engraved on opposite sides of the 160mm diameter plate will read to 1 min. of arc, and the 32mm wide apertures on both the telescope and collimator provide more light. It features an adjustable grating/prism table, so proper alignment can be achieved by simply adjusting the stage height regardless of the size of grating and/or prism used. It also has a rotatable table, rack and pinion focusing for both the telescope and collimator, and heavy metal cast construction for years of reliable use.
