Get perfect samples regardless of what type of soil you collect. Teachers Joseph Cirillo and Bruce Rowland have come up with this practical, feature-filled device with ease-of-use being the keyword. The boring handle can be easily removed and replaced by a special extractor unit. Then, simply turn the extractor handle to easily and neatly remove your soil plug intact. The unit also features a depth measurement scale (up to 8 inches) so that you can easily collect multiple plugs from uniform depths for comparison. The unit is even easy to clean — simply use the boring handle and/or a stiff bristled brush.
