Let your students experiment with and directly observe the effects of SO2 pollution on plants.
Students germinate squash and marigold seeds, expose these plants to a total SO2 environment, observe and record daily plant color changes, loss of rigidity and root hair differences.
The plants are grown in Seed-Gro™ chambers then placed in a larger environmental chamber. This kit is totally self-contained.
Includes: two environmental chambers, four Seed-Gro™ chambers, the SO2 generator, two packages of seeds, an absorbent disc, bottle, student manual, and teacher’s manual.
