Product Information

Ray Kaschalk has brought the particle theory of atoms to the front of the classroom. This chalkboard manipulative demonstrates the different models of baryons and mesons in large forms that are easy to see in any area of the classroom. With multiple samples representing the different types of quarks, students can visualize what a proton and neutron look like at the subatomic level. The set includes 23 manipulatives of 16″ diameter and 6″ diameter with magnetic adhesive and Velcro©. Developed by teacher, Ray Kaschalk, the kit is recommended for grades 11 and 12. Includes instructions. Some assembly required.
