Product InformationA small motor drives a piston at high speeds in a plastic cylinder to agitate small spheres representing molecules. The agitated spheres simulate the molecular motion of a gas and are forced against another piston that is free to move in or out of the plastic cylinder. The load placed on the free piston and changes in the motor velocity model the effects of pressure and temperature on the volume of a gas. The motor operates on 3 to 6 volts, DC.
