Product Information
Test Student Knowledge of Invertebrate Phyla Invertebrate Beach is a biology review game covering information about the invertebrate phyla. Students travel around a game board that is set up to follow the invertebrate phyla from simplest (Porifera-sponges) to the more complex (Echinoderms-starfish). When they land on a space they are given two chances to answer a question correctly. Students must answer questions like "What type of worm is a tapeworm?", "Which of the following is not an example of the phylum echinodermata?", and "Which of the following exhibits a radially symmetrical body plan?". If they get the answer right on the first try they get $15 in bio-bucks; $10 in bio-bucks if they answer correctly on the second try. The player with the most bio-bucks at the end of the game is the winner. Includes game mat, 36 game cards, bio-bucks, game pieces, 1 die, instructions. Created by high-school biology teacher Mary (Beth) Steagall. Grades 6-12.
