Product Information

Chuck Downing developed this unique chemistry lab based on the properties of red cabbage juice as a pH indicator.
Students make indicator solution and pH strips out of red cabbage juice. They use the strips to create their own pH reference chart and to test the acidity of "rain" in a controlled atmosphere. Kit describes five activities. Grades 8-11.
