Product Information

The Globe Kit includes a 20 cm snap together globe of the northern and southern hemispheres, a base, two transparent hemisphere overlays, a center disk showing core and mantle, an external protractor, a 5 cm x 8 cm mirror, a flexible kilometer ruler, and two 10 cm rods with suction cups.
The unique base has been constructed so the globe can be rotated at 23-1/2 degrees with or without the transparent sphere that facilitates the study of day and night, the seasons and other positions.
The transparent hemispheres must be used separately or over the globe, and allow you to plot ocean currents, weather conditions, spacecraft orbits and time zones with water soluble ink.
The hemispheres are molded of styrene and will not shrink; the outer hemispheres are clear acetate and will not yellow or stain from water soluble ink.
