Product Information

Designed for high school and elementary college courses, these rock and mineral specimens provide a complete range of materials for comparisons of igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic rocks. In addition, students can study rock-forming ores of metals and non-metals, differences in the hardness scale and physical properties including streak, luster, cleavage, fracture, specific gravity and magnetism. The collection is housed in two 36-compartment collection boxes, one each for rocks and minerals. All specimens are numbered.

Includes streak plate, magnet, magnifier, identification list and instruction booklet. Size of each: 2.5 x 5cm. Set of 72. Note: collections are subject to change depending upon availability of individual items.
