Each kit contains a sonometer board with anchoring and tension devices, two adjustable bridges, two thin strings, one thick string, a 512 vps tuning fork, and a striking mallet. A number of interesting experiments are described in the student manual included with each kit. For example, the change in frequency and loudness of sound from a vibrating string when the length, thickness, and tension of the string are changed is demonstrated. Includes five complete kits and a set of teacher/student assembly and activity guides.
